    DROS fees on trades?

Newbie question. For "trades" of handguns, I'm assuming it's just handled as two simultaneous PPTs with two separate DROS fees? I listed a WTS/WTT ad, but want to know what the right "etiquette" is on payment of both fees. My ad said "buyer pays fees" but I don't want to be a jerk by insisting that he pay both if that's not the way it's done in a trade. I know CalGuns works on a system of honor and good faith. Guidance is appreciated.

I would guess each person pays 1 DROS fee in a trade but buyer usually covers DROS on a sale.

Well lets just stick with the buyers pays DROS on a sale. In a trade, there's 2 sales going on. Each person is selling 1 gun and buying the other at the same time. So in that case, each person pays for the DROS on their own purchase. This is just my opinion.

If you are tradeing guns you will each pay a DRO'S of $35.00 if you are selling it the buyer pays 1 DRO'S and vis versa if you are the buyer.

You, the "buyer" of his gun, pay your fees. He, the "buyer" of your gun, pays his fees. $35 each.
