I live in Texas, own a gen 4 glock 22. Going to be getting out and coming back to California. Could I sell this gun in ca thru a private party transfer? If so, how much could I expect to get for it?

Humm, No one? -
Also you might have to wait more than 30 mins for a response (joking) you will have to be resident here before you can sell it. If you get a chance look in the want to buy section and see what people are looking for. Might be worth your time picking up a firearm you can flip (without gouging) here.I support the NRA, if you are not in, you can't win.

Maybe an extra $50?
With the SSE method, and glocks being so popular, many shops run specials gen4 glocks + SSE.
about 6 months ago Valkyrie Arms in Santa Clara had gen4 G19s (SSE included) for $550.
Glocks are pretty common so being off roster doesn’t mean they will be worth all that more - especially if they are in visible used condition.
Now off roster revolvers that’s a whole ‘nother story
