Ahh. I didn't know that, that'll make things a lot easier. I'll try that tonight. Thanks.

I try to mix it up dry fire practice I use a little DA just because you never know when or if your gonna need to use it, better to have it and not need it, then need it and not have it, also do SA like normal just cock the hammer and squeeze, but I found the best practice is have someone load live rounds when at the range and have them slip in a couple dummy rounds, this will help you to tell if your flinching or trying to compensate for recoil, I tried this a few weeks ago and I have a bad habit of shooting low because of me anticipating recoil

Dime drill at home (balance a dime on your front sight and practice DA shots with snap caps loaded into mag. Do 10-15 trigger presses. If the dime falls off, start all over again) and "ball and dummy" drill at the range (have someone load up mags mixing up live rounds w/snap caps-- really good exercise to correct flinching).

Striker guns are much worse! You have to slightly rack the slide for every dry-fire! The SP-01, just pull the trigger...if you can master DA then SA is a breeze. Even then thumbing back the hammer is easier than re-racking a striker gun.

Forget about stopping power. If you can't hit it, you can't stop it.

If you practice with your DA trigger, your SA trigger management will get better too. The only difference between the two trigger strokes is the distance traveled by the trigger before it releases the sear
