You mean what calibers do the midsize Glocks (officially called compacts) come in?

        G23 is a 40S&W.
        G19 is a 9MM.
        G38 is a 45GAP (different round than the 45ACP)
        G32 is a 357SIG

They make other size Glocks as well. Here is a link to a visual chart on their website.

Started off with a Beretta 96FS Brigadeer 40S&W full size handgun and hated it. Switched to a Glock G23 Gen 3 40S&W Compact and loved it but after a couple of years sold it to try the H&K USP Compact 40S&W but was unimpressed. Then bought another Glock G23 Gen 3 40S&W Compact and after about year sold it upon deciding to get into 9mm and leave the 40S&W behind. Just decided it was too snappy a recoil for me. It was hindering my progress. Next I bought a Glock G19 Gen 2 9mm Compact Police Trade In. Shot it for a while but decided I wanted to try out a 1911 for a while and didn't have enough money for both so I sold it. Loved the 1911, but missed the Glock. So I added a Glock G17 Gen 2 Police Trade In to the collection and kept the 1911 for a while. I like the full size Glock better than the Compact as far as the joy of shooting it. Harder to conceal however. Needed to raise money in a hurry a couple months ago and sold my 1911. Plan on getting another 1911 in the future, but will probably get a Glock 26 Gen 4 9mm Subcompact for summer CCW first. Easier to hide the baby Glocks than my full size Glock. But I plan on keeping both guns as the full size gun is easier to shoot and with a jacket on can be concealed.

I think he's asking if there are any conversion barrels that he could buy and if so what calibers can he switch the 23 too with conversion barrels.

Ah, gotcha. Not a fan of the conversion barrel thing so it didn't occur to me. First thought was confusion over the naming process...which is normal. It is confusing.

Since we are on the caliber conversion subject, does it require different extractor for a Glock 23 when converting a 40 SW to a 9mm?

I was wondering the same thing about the extracter. The guns I was looking at where police trade in for about 400 otd one mag gen 3 and box. The ones I was looking at had a few up grades like night sights and other personal preference parts that the previous owners liked. But I've been craving a glock again I sold 3 of mine to help afford my wife's wedding ring.

You can run the .40 extractor with a 9mm conversion barrel, I haven't had one FTE with that setup. You should change it out to increase reliability if you need it or have issues.

                      Glock 23 is .40 S&W standard.
You can get a drop in barrel to convert directly to .357 SIG.
You can also get a drop in barrel to convert to 9mm, but it's suggested that you use the 9mm (Glock 19) magazines. On some Glocks, it may also help to get the lighter 9mm recoil spring. Hope that helps.
