We can't shoot it at some ranges and matches, and now IDPA banned it. I presume USPSA is going to be close behind.

Sig stands behind the 320. As should everyone.

I’d buy it just to be a dick/a-hole.

I don't want to stand in front of any gun.

I would buy one if it's $300 or less, just to mess around with it.

For an X10 I’d go double that.

With just a barely there pressure on the trigger (as in something brushing against it) and a little more pressure or movement on the slide the internal mechanism can and will fail causing the firing pin to release and fire a round. While at my local gun shop they demonstrated this to me in person. The pressure and forces involved required to cause this malfunction are more than possible in both a holster and while drawing from a holster even if your finger never enters the trigger well. Even with a kydex holster. It's just not worth the risk.

Since I have no interest in buying one I have not watched the many demonstrations on YouTube. But they exist if you are curious. The guys at my local gun shop were demonstrating the issue for a police officer who was worried about their fellow officers. There was nothing in it for the gun shop either way. As the gun they demonstrated it on was in their inventory until the problem was confirmed to be real. Now they can't sell it for liability reasons.
