New Colt Python - V spring adjustment. Anyone done it?

Started a little gunsmithing on my 2024 Python. I was pleasantly surprised how easy everything came apart. Smoothed out the single action hammer sear and it breaks so clean and crisp now. Have read some people have modified the v-spring to lower the double action pull and help with the stacking, but haven't come across any videos or pics.

Anyone here ever work on the v-spring? Have pics or videos? Not interested in making it super light, but would love to take a couple pounds off as long as it still reliably ignites primers.

    Thanks in advance

i don't have info on the V' spring, Gotta ask how bad was your original trigger pull and the surface you polished? I have a new 2024 Python and Anaconda both 6", Trigger pull in LBS is always debatable per owners discretion, That aside i don't see room for improvement. So what did you find and how much is there to gain? Thanks

My double action pull is about 8 3/4 pounds, so it is fine. My single action pull was 5 1/2 pounds, which is entirely too heavy. I stoned the sear engagement on the hammer to change the angle and engagement to a neutral angle. This is one that does not move the hammer back when you pull the hammer, yet it you can still push on the hammer and it won't slip. I got the trigger down to 2 3/4 pounds which is much better for single action target shooting. I am not going to use this gun for self defense or CCW carry so I don't care that I messed with the trigger. It now shoots great and it is easier to get 9's and 10's with it.

So in summary I did not mess with the v spring it was fine.
