I got mine on consignment at Iron Sights in Oceanside for $600. Just call around to every gun store and pawn shop in the area, hopefully you'll eventually get lucky as I did.

The recoil buffer is a subtle thing - when shooting a lot of rounds at a time (say 200-300) - I swear it makes a difference in reducing fatigue.

      Also has removeable front sight...

I, too, would like a 92A1/96A1. I looked really hard at trying to get a 96A1 a couple of years ago. But I decided against it, and I ended up getting a M9A1 instead.

There's a 92A1 for sale in the Marketplace. He's asking $625 for it, but he's up in Santa Clara, unfortunately.

They did the "consignment" as a PPT. Discount Gun Mart did the same with my AMT Backup.
