I did a search for this topic but did not find one so I do apologize if it already exists somewhere.
So I've been wanting to get my CCW for a while and I had heard that our previous sheriff Gary Philip did for the most part grant them to anyone who applied and passed the basic requirements set forth by the state. Unfortunately he retired and our new Sheriff Michael Downey is less likely to give them out from what I've heard. I was wondering if anyone had any experience with this guy (or his peons that I've heard do many of the interviews). If so what was your success rate and what kind of good cause reasons did they need to get your CCW. Thanks.
