Wonder if the author of the video even understand the slide stop design difference between the Tokarev and the 1911? Tokarev holds the slide stop with the clip, 1911 holds the slide stop with the slide.

The only way 1911's slide stop will come out is if it's damaged, slide and frame has too much vertical clearance or constant force is pressed "hard" against the pin while firing. Doubtful any person's index finger can press that hard against the side, not enough leverage.
