How do they clean rental guns at the range?

It's gotta be quick, and effective.

Does anyone know how they do it? Can we do this at home?

(I know, some of you enjoy the process, but some of us just do it because we have to.)

They clean rental guns at the range? Since when? I just have an image of the kid at the bowling ally spraying out the rental shoes.

They don't, at least not at any range I've ever been to.

I don't think so it's probably just lazy and half as*ed. My buddy works at one of the ranges I go to and they all complain when they have to clean the guns lol but I Bet there is some multi caliber multiple brush head the use and just do a few swipes down this barrel than this and this one then get a dry patch and repeat so it's just good enough.

But I know they are cleaned at least once a week if not more.

They clean them when they start to jam (semi-auto).
CL-Pee + rag + bore snake... maybe. I've seen it done.

                        ^ this

They guys behind the counter at the ranges I've rented at pretty much warn you that it might fail to feed, etc. because they never clean them.

Closest to 'clean' they get is drops of oil which just turns the residue on the firearms to paste since it is caked on!

Range I worked at dipped them into a solvent tank then wiped them down.
Unless I got bored and stripped them down , or the Glock-Boy ( the only guns he would touch) wanted to play all day and waste some time.
Bweise says "I have to say the situation was not at all helped by 22 yr old former Airsoft douches who kept touting here, "But possession is not illegal!" "

Have you ever half arsed a gun cleaning because you knew you were going to just get them dirty again well that's how probably a rag and a brush and maybe a few patches.
