Brian, I'm located in southern California. I'd really love to get the coyote tan PF-9. Where do you suggest I go?

Im not Brian but I will give you an alternate suggestion if his does not work out: Call ryan at table rock arms. He will ship it SSE to a local FFL (theres several in Socal that will do SSE's such as riflegear).

Can someone explain why someone would convert an auto to a SSE. Is it to get around California not having it on the DOJ's approved list? How much are the conversions?

It's only converted for the sale and then the gun is switched back to original configuration.

Different places charge different amounts. And yes, it's to get around the CA roster.

To me it's nothing to travel to get a gun I want, you may even be able to hook up with other Cal gunners and make a day trip out of it to PRK in Fresno and split fuel cost.

They did not have tan when I was there, but they can get you what ever you want.

The pf9 is a piece of ****! Ammo picky, ejection problems, sharp recoil sence the slide is steel with no protection it will show rust after only one day of carry. Dont waste your money. It is the worst gun ive ever own.

dougtoni did you contact kel-tec? I've heard nothing but good things about their customer service. I had a coworker who had kel-tec ship replace his since his had problems.

I was also looking at the coyote tan PF-9. How does one get the number to Ryan and is there a FFL who will do the transfer and change back the gun in (or near) West Covina??

My experience was shooting one mag through the pf9 and put it down.
I've never fired a pocket 9mm before and saw that "nutnfancy" fellow on youtube give rave reviews about it and almost was ready to hop into the SEE valkrie arms group buy because of what I heard. That was all until I shot it, recoil out of those tiny guns is A LOT more than expected. Didn't care for it that much because of it. (side note, also shot the lcp, loved it)
