    Like others have said, I think the XSE is a better value but the 1991 is a really good place to start. It won't be your last 1911 trust me.

          Just got a new blued colt from turner at San Diego. Now I got to wait for the 10 day waiting period. 699 smoking deal. They were selling like hot cakes.

              I drove down to Turners in San Diego today and got one of the Colt 1991s for $699. Oh man i cant wait! Come on Nov. 9th lol. At 1:30 this afternoon they still had 4 left but i think a guy after me was picking one up as well. Those things are selling like crazy.
