    Glock 38 .45 GAP - Thoughts?

    Hey guys,

I've read a few things online and I thought I'd come here for some input / thoughts.

I'm looking at a never been fired Glock 38 .45 GAP and was curious what you all might think.

Personally not a huge fan of Glock myself, but this one has a nice feel to it and I'm tempted to pick it up.

So any ideas, input or advice, feel free.

Its a round that failed in the market place and never caught on. You would be buying a firearm that would progessively be harder to find ammo for over time. Personally, I would pass on it.
RIP Louis Awerbuck. I miss you and your training.

.45 gap is a solution to an unknown problem. Id stick to .45 acp, much more popular and cheaper.

i feel the same way. .45 GAP is rare, and and likely very expensive. theres really no need for a shortened round anyway, 45 acp glocks feel great, and the ammo is common, maybe not as cheap as i would like, but still, much more affordable than 45 GAP.

I wouldn't buy a Glock, just don't care for them in general although I admit they work well. Correct me if I'm wrong though but in the "small Glock" version isn't the GAP version a good deal smaller than the ACP?

The caliber alone wouldn't stop me from getting it since I reload - I'd probably shoot a 45 GAP more than I shoot my 41 AE ...
