    It's a Hi-Point, get over it.

Now go get a Glock or XD.

I gotta say that I'm not going to hire a security company owned by a guy who got robbed and lost $20K, including someone else's gun.

        I don't think I'd hire an Armed Guard wearing a Hi-Point honestly
My opinions are my own and do not represent the position of other companies I may be involved with.

Wouldn't someone carrying a Hi-Point actually fit the definition of Unarmed Guard?

I was shooting a Glock when shooting a Glock wasn't cool.

Once I heard that his house was broken into I rushed over there and waited for Sacramento Police and explained the situation, I didnt have the serial # on hand but today I got the DROS form and called the detective and gave him the serial this afternoon. So hopefully it gets found and nobody does anything stupid with it.

I tell you, I am stressed the hell out right now, I hope that they can find it. I don't care about the financial loss (I only paid $200 for it), I care about what that thing may be doing now or any trouble I could be in, which if I understand the law correctly I am in the clear.... Your thoughts?
Call the PD back in a few days to confirm that the gun actually made it into the Stolen Firearms Computor System.

Many years ago, my Toyota 4Runner was stolen from the Disneyland parking lot. My Colt 1911 in 45 acp was in the car. I didn't have the serial number with me, but called Anaheim PD back a few days later with the serial number.
Neither the car nor the gun was ever recovered. But a few years later, I found that Anaheim PD had never entered the serial number into the stolen firearms data base. So, the weapon could have have been recovered at anytime, but it would never has shown as being stolen.
I finally got them to enter the serial number but I think it was too late. Weapon has never been recovered.
