Warthog slide catch problem

My Para Ord Warthog is having difficulty locking the slide back after the last fired round. It appears that the edge of plastic magazine follower gets banged up pretty easy and is causing the slide catch to pop out to the left rather than push up into the slide notch. Can't afford to by new magazines each time this happens. Thinking about cutting off some coils on the magazine spring or get weaker springs to reduce wear on the follower. Does anyone know of rebuilding kits/parts for these Para double stack mags? Specifically looking for metal followers and softer springs.
