It's my favorite $280 gun.Never initiate force against another. That should be the underlying principle of your life. But should someone do violence to you, retaliate without hesitation, without reservation, without quarter, until you are sure that he will never wish to harm - or never be capable of harming - you or yours again.

Other than the fact that I paid too much for it here in California, I dig it so far.|

What's the going rate on a new one here in California?Maybe it's just me, but I hate stupid people!Comment

Because it's a P-3AT clone that's better quality than the original, more reliable than the original and it retails for about the same price. And why is it so popular?
I just hope Ruger clones the PF9 next. That would be the ultimate gun for deep concealment.WARNING: This post contains ideas known to the State of California to be highly offensive to the weak-minded, the semi-literate, and the all-around useless.Comment

I love mine. It's a great pocket gun when you're wearing summer clothes that make it hard to conceal a larger gun. Plus, it only cost me $265 new about 6 months ago. I gave the first one I bought last year to my father-in-law for him to carry while hiking. He lives in a free state now.
They've gone up a little in price now. I think they're around $285 at ProForce in Brea. They require LE, Fire, Military, EMS, etc ID just to get in the door. The LCP is a LE only sale when new since it's off roster.

I just got mine about a week ago. I love it! Carried it the whole time I was back home in AZ.
I thought I would want a pocket holster and not IWB, but even though it's capable of both I find IWB to be more comfortable and practical (and easy to conceal.)
No malfunctions so far, the finish is wearing off the ejection port cover though after about 100 rounds. No big deal.
It is well worth the $289 bucks if you can get one new, if you have to go through PPT expect to pay $400-$500 used.
Also, it is surprisingly accurate for it's size.
Included below is gun porn, including a size comparison to my G17 Gen4

Just for size reference here is a LCP, Taurus Slim 709 and a Glock 27.
The LCP is much smaller and half the weight of the Glock. The Taurus is much slimmer than the Glock, but not that much smaller in overall length or height. Sorry for the poor pictures, but my cell was the only camera I had handy...
And for those who hate Taurus, the Slim has been 99.95% reliable out of 450-ish rounds. The only failure was in the first magazine through her.
