    CA-Legal Sub-Compact Automatics?

Does anyone know of a sub-compact pistol that can be legally purchased new? I had my eye on a Ruger LCP and was very saddened to find out that it was not California legal. I started checking other options out and can't seem to find one. Would I be able to get one through a PPT if it was an older gun, pre-dating then DOJ list? Any insight would be greatly appreciated.

            These and the Glock 27 and S&W M&P 40c.

How small are you wanting andrew? I ask because the Glocks and SA and S&W mentioned in my post and the one previous are generally considered big in the world of small guns, but they are classified as sub compacts.

I also like the looks of the 1911 with the 3" barrel, forgot what the name of it was.

Definitely looking for a smaller sub compact. About the size of the LCP. Anyone know if it's in the plans to make the LCP CA legal? Or is it too small to add the features necessary for the DOJ to give the approval?

Bersa thunder is fairly small pistol. They actually have a ccw model as well, though. Everything is abbreviated, smoothed and rounded to aid in comfortable carry, as well as snag-free presentation from concealment.

Check out bersa's website or bersatalk for more info.

You can get an LCP. Theyre regularly for sale in the CG classifieds, but you pay $500 instead of $300-$400.
