Just sold my P320. So many videos of discharges. I just can't completely trust it. Bought a M&P Compact.

I bought the hype and one of their Mark 25 pistols, the one everybody was ooh'ing and aahh'ing about a few years back. But at the range, with a six inch bullseye at 12.5 yards, no matter what ammunition I ran through it, the gun shot two inches above the top of the bullseye, or seven to eight inches above point of aim. (pictured below is what I usually do at the range.) I called SiG customer service and outlined what had happened. Instead of being advised how and where to ship the gun for inspection and new sights, the clod on the other end of the phone just sneered and said: "You just don't know how to shoot our gun." "F*** you, and f*** your gun, pal." I unloaded the piece two days later.
Bottom line, maybe the gun is alright, but their customer service eats the big one.

Yes, but make sure it doesn't shoot like 4" high, no matter what sights you install. That chit is real. So frustrating. The only good thing is the groups are quarter-size size but you have to aim so low.

Not the exact model as OP was looking at but i bought a Sig Xten .......... Zero confidence in the magazine, .......... First loading i noticed i was a round short of the advertised quantity unloaded the mag counted rounds again checked advertising loaded mags again same thing a round short, ....... during unloading the mag follower would get stuck in place midstream and you could hold upside down and shake remaining rounds out, ........ I took a mag apart and found out something interesting, ..... The mag spring has 2 outer diameters the upper half is smaller and expected to telescope down into and out of the larger diameter, ..... no spring guidance in either direction so coils intermix and stick, ..... which explains the unloading part, ...... And the reason the mag count is 1 short is the spring is alot longer say than my Glock 20 its just to much mass in a given area hard stacking, ..... contacted Sig the responce was load the mag for a extended period and the spring will relax, ..... well a year or so later no relax, ...... i can however get total round count by using the edge of a bench or something but final insertion into the pistol ??? There is absolutely no more spring left to compress at the final moment when the slide pushes down on top round, .... Its like 10lbs of candy in a 5 lb bag, ...... Regret the purchase and find it odd that there is so much extra engineering going on to fix a problem that didn't exist all to cause a new one..

. I do own a Sig 365 no safety and a P238... both good compact pistols

              .

My P226 shoots to the point of aim and is the most accurate pistol I own.

I own a few Sigs, guess I'm lucky. All function flawlessly. I must admit the 2022 surprised me. Won it at a raffle so I figured I didn't spend much on it. When I took it out at the range, I thought this is a sleeper.

The SP2022 is the one Sig that I just couldn't get the hang of the trigger pull to shoot it well. I ended up selling mine.

The 210 and the rare stainless SAO 220 series pistols are the only ones that ever interested me.

I hate the grip on 226s like people hate the Beretta 92 grip. My 92 Brigadier is the most accurate semiautomatic I own.👐

It does get a little getting used to. Took me a while to figure it out. Now I am adequate with it. Not close to my P226, but I can hit the paper.

Fun fact: SP2009's grip is just a hair bigger along the front strap over the SP2022. You can use the same replaceable grip yet feel the SP2009 being fatter than SP2022. Took me a long time to figure out where the difference was.

Have you tried the E2 grip? It makes a difference.

I don't remember the last time I fired a 92, if ever. I don't mind having one though. Maybe I'll look for one in the market place.

Those Hogue finger groove grips make a difference. You might try similar grips on 226. With a SIG 226/229/239 in 40 it's a requirement. And fun!

They are horrible looking but yes, those grips work well and feel great.
