which 1911 is more accurated ?

Inching for a new pistol (tax refund), 1911, 45ACP, I have two in mind (1) RIA Pro Match. (2) Sig Sauer 1911.
I don't worry about the: price difference of those two, values, brand, color ... the only thing I worry about is the bench rest ACCURACY.
To CGers who have both or have the chance to shoot both WHICH ONE IS MORE bench rest ACCURACY out of the box ?

    Thanks You.

Thanks Bruce, I already had Les Bear PII 1.5" and couple 1911. But I feel very good to use tax refund from Newsom and Biden to buy a gun. I just want to screw those two guys .

Just my $0.02 get the rock and shoot the sh1t out of it

I did an informal double stacked 40cal rock against 2011 sightblock 40cal and yes the 2011 was better but it wasn’t 6x better like the msrp would suggest. Rock are great guns for the money

Honestly I don’t think you’ll see any noticeable difference in mechanical accuracy with them. Maybe in your own personal accuracy based on likes/comfort/feel of the two guns, really should shoot or at least handle both and see which one feels more natural in your hands.

As we get older, I appreciate my buddies Kimber in 9mm.

The good thing is that modern guns are all pretty good.

I have shot the Sig and enjoyed it. I did not shoot it past 20 yards and we were shooting steel. So I can't say more than see if any rental ranges have either firearm in their rental inventory

I have friends, well, I think they're friends, who have interacted with the likes of Lester Bear as far back as the 1970s
when LB was racing his dragsters on the track.

Has little confidence as I have in RIA, I'd definitely go with a stock RIA for reliability over any LB pistol ever made.

Between RIA Pro Match and Sig Sauer 1911, I would pick Sig.

So then you already know the 1911 answer to accuracy.

Piss them off by getting a black rifle.
Before there was Polymer there was Accuracy.

I like the looks and specs of the new Savage 1911, forged SS frame and slide, barrel is also machined from a forged billet.

Without a doubt, it’s the SIG Sauer 1911. No question.

I have a RIA Pro Match. It is amazing for the money. It is my favorite .45. Can't speak to the Sig 1911. I have never shot one. But I do have other Sigs and they all shoot well.

I have a Sig GSR Revolution Target 1911 that shoots very well. It actually is more accurate than my old Wilson Combat CQB.
I had a regular RIA 1911 that shot fine, not great. It probably could have been better with some improvements.

They should be equal in accuracy since both are production level 1911. I have the RIA Pro Patch Ultra FS. The fitting of frame/slide/barrel and all the small parts is superb, no exaggeration.

I don't have a Sig 1911 to compare but I desire to have a Sig Nitron 1911 for my collection.

The Pro Match Ultra does not have a firing pin safety, it is a " series 70 ". The Sig has a " series 80 FPS ". This has nothing to do with accuracy potential per se, I just thought I have to mention it.

Whatever you choose, I think you will be satisfied with their accuracy. If not, you can have a EGW barrel bushing installed, though I am not sure how much improvement that will give you.
