I am looking for a handgun I used to own. It's the S & W model 52. I want to expand my search beyond local FTF transfer but the 52 is not on the approved list. It is on the "Exempt Olympic Pistols" list. It is listed on this list as the model 52, however, I am finding model 52-1's and 52-2's. Do the -1 and -2 designations mean anything as far as the list? How about in the case of the approved list?
