To sell or not to sell?

Im having a dilemma here. When I first got into FIrearms I told my self I would never sell any gun I ever bought. Well that lasted all of a month or two. The problem I face is whether or not I should sell my Glock 17. This was my first handgun I ever bought and it has a special place in my heart and I told myself I would never sell it just because she was my firstbut Since then I bought a glock 23 and am much more comfortable with the compact glock (damn my small carnie hands). So should I sell it to buy a G19 or should I just save the money and buy a glock 19 RTF when they come out and keep my G17(my shop will sell me one for $499 when they arrive assuming there is no price increase from glock)

    RTF sucks.

    Just keep your G17!

If you want texture on the grip.... try Tru-Grip....

Buy the g19 and keep the g17 until you know for sure you would rather have the g19. *Which shouldn't take long cause everyone knows the g19>g17* Then sell the g17.

I'd personally stay away from the RTF glocks. I think they feel terrible.

Keep the G17 & do a grip reduction yourself. This way you have a full sized 9 milli Glock w/ smaller grip. I've done 4 grip reduction for various Glocks, a very fun weekend project if you have the time for it.

Is it a 3rd gen? If so, sell it... to me!

Seriously, if it's your first handgun and you are fond of it for that reason, keep it!

are RTFs really that bad? The reviews I have read people seem to say the arent fond of it at first but after a little more handling they like it btter than the reg gen 3 glocks

If you want, you can always get a conversion barrel. A lot of people have reported good luck with them! That way, you can keep your 17, have a compact 9mm and your 23 still. When the rtf comes out, you can decide if you want it or just a regular g19.

In my case, I will sell all the Glocks or XD or MP and buy another 1911, if 1911 was my first gun then I won't buy other plastic guns. You got the Kimber already so buy a SW1911 or Springfield or Les Baer ( my dream)

Never sell a gun to buy another. Wait and save up. Never ever sell your first. You will think about it.

Man knows what he's talking about. Straight up honesty: I would buy it, but I sure would feel bad about it knowing this was your first gun and all...
