I picked up a Tanfoglio Elite Match about two weeks ago. I like it a lot but do think it can be made better (for me). I am thinking of getting the Henning checkered grips to make the grip a bit thinner and the Henning Tanfoglio Match upgrade kit to reduce trigger pull. Do any of you have experience with Henning products? Are there better options?

I have a Stock 2 I use for USPSA shooting. I have used the Eric Grauffel grips which are slimmer (I'll sell them to you if want) but I ended up getting the LOK swell grips. They are better fitting for MY smaller hands.
I buy parts from Patriot Defense and the Ben Stoeger pro shop. Both have excellent service.
I did the trigger job myself and it feels good. Its really a simple design. Here is part 1 of a four part video on tuning your Tanfo. I did have Patriot Defense ream/throat the barrel for longer 9mm rounds I like to load.
Good Luck!!Comment

One more vote for Patriot Defense. I shot Tanfoglio Stainless Elite Limited in USPSA Limited division until I switched to SVI earlier this year, and Patriot Defense was my go-to shop to get work done.
Henning is good to go with parts. I believe most of my internals came from them.
As for grips, I had Henning thin grips but found that I liked the scales better. These are skeletonized grips that provide very good gripping surface and are the shape and size that worked for me.sigpicNRA Benefactor MemberComment

It was in early 2017 so I don't remember the exact time, but it wasn't long and it was what I would expect - a few weeks.
Both Tanfoglios and CZs can be finicky to work on so you need a gunsmith who knows them inside out and has enough spare parts around. I haven't used any others, so I cannot give you an opinion. Remember, a quality gunsmith will know whether he can or cannot do the job so if you trust the guy in general, you should be good to go based on his opinion.sigpicNRA Benefactor MemberComment
