John Wayne Commemorative Gun

Does anybody here have information on a gun the Orange County, CA Sheriff's Department or Orange County Peace Officers Association issued in the 1980's as a tribute to John Wayne? I believe it came in a display box along with a coin, but don't remember any other details about it.
