    9mm revolvers

I missed two chances on the calguns board to buy S&W 9mm revolvers. So, I though, this rare Ruger Speed Six, actually in CA, was my chance...

It finally hit a price where I would be afraid to take it out of the safe.

Maybe it's time to try out the S&W .45 revolver instead.

honestly.....I'd pass on the ruger revo. I have issues with ruger but that not the reason i'd pass. That gun is a lot of money for just a revolver. You could buy two new S&W's for that price. I have been thinking about a S&W in 45ACP myself.

Wow! $900 for the final bidding price!! Amazing...

Wonder if it is really worth it?

Considering that the 610 is now going for upwards of 900 to $1k now due to rarity.. I can see the prices on rare caliber revolvers only going up, Ruger, Smith, or even H&R. If it's rare enough, at some point they will become scarce and some collector will pay top dollar. I spent.. $500 on my 610 classic when it was new about 6 years ago.. I could sell it now for double that. It is my main revo competition gun currently (IPSC/ICORE). So it's $1k on the market now.. so what? I hope to eventually win a 627 so I can retire it as my main ICORE gun

If you want that 9mm Ruger, then get it. Too many times I've told myself, naw, I don't need it, only to kick myself later.

S&W will probably always manufacture a 45 acp revolver. As long as Jerry M is around anyway..

I bought a 9mm revolver to consolidate ammo and shoot the cheap stuff. At over $900, that savings would be more than washed out. I paid less than $300 IIRC for my Taurus 905B.

I had a 940 awhile back as a backup/pocket piece. Didn't like dealing with the full moon clips or the DAO trigger... dumped it for a Mod. 38 Airweight Bodyguard and haven't looked back since.

If they made a 9mm Bodyguard, that would be sweet!!
