If your making it fixed mag, why would you make it single shot?

It’s either or.

Removing the gas tube and plugging the gas block, will make the exisiting firearm no longer semi-auto and it will be considered a manually operated (straight pull bolt-action) firearm.

A manually operated pistol can legally use detachable magazines.
^Is not required to have a fixed magazine.
