21lb spring is an essential upgrade for ALL 10mm Glocks, IMO. Some people like the factory 16lb spring, but I found that everything about the gun worked twice as well after I upgraded to a 21lb. Better recoil, better cycling, not picky about ammo anymore, and most importantly, the slide stopped battering the frame when shooting full-power loads. It's one of those upgrades that's important enough that it shouldn't even be considered optional, Glock should've included it with their 10mm models in the first place.
Settle down, folks. The new "ghost gun" regulations probably don't do what you think they do.

      Good to know, thank you!

Not a fan of Glocks either my brother owns several and I didn't like shooting any of them. They felt "funky" is the perfect description.

A few months ago I was in Ambrose Armory doing a PPT as the buyer and they had a G21sf in the case on consignment. Bought new there and returned two weeks after pick up by the buyer unfired. $500 OTD, held in my hand and it felt descent so I bought it. To my surprise I actually enjoy shooting it and was surprised by the accuracy. Now the G20sf is on my bucket list and will be my next purchase.

I have the standard frame and its big but i didnt buy mine for a target gun bought it for camp woods gun.I changed to a 21pound flat spring too with stainless guiderod and no problems with it.I have shot a couple 40 s&w thru it with no probs.

As for ammo i reload so no issues there i have pushed some hotter loads but til i get a supported barrel im stopping there. No smileys but i measure the case expansion to go off of.Was at 1300 for a 180 i know theres more too but like i said stopping there. My plinker load is milder 1225fps just enough to make it feel like your shooting something with power but not enough to worry about it too hot.

            If you have a 10mm ---> http://10mm-firearms.com/index.php

You can shoot 40S&W out of you G20 as long as the cartridge feeds from the magazine. You can't just drop a cartridge into the chamber. The 40S&W case has to be held against the breach by the extractor. It works OK for practice, but I wouldn't bet my life on it unless there was no other choice.

You can also get a 40S&W barrel from Lone Wolf.

If you have a g21 or 21sf, you can make it a 10mm

Gunbroker has brand new g20 complete uppers and mags. It will cost you $400.

For another $150 I might as well just get a whole new pistol. But that's just me. I like to fill my safe.

I thought about that and saw a 20sf locally for $570. Then there is DROS and tax. I'm only using the 10mm once or twice a year on a hunt.

I have an orange baseplate on the mag, see pic of upper, and took a sharpie to the rear sight so I now have a 3 dot set up.

EMR - you can take some sandpaper to the mag release to smooth out the corners. Glad to hear recoil isn't bad. I've yet to shoot mine. I need to go to the range! I have a few guns I haven't even shot - sad.

You can get a 21sf frame only for about $300 if that frame doesn't work well for your hands. Use the $300 you save vs buying a new gun for ammo.

That is what I did to my G26. I do not have a problem with any of my other Glock pistols

Ive had a glock 20sf for about 3 or 4 months now. I too was surprised the recoil was not that bad. Of course when shooting target ammo, its severely underpowered, but I've also shot full power specialty ammo out of it and the best i can describe it, it was a like a 45+p.

Anyway, i have a blast shooting mine. Glad you like yours as well.

Your comment about the .45+p got me thinking, why don't they call the full power 10mm stuff "10mm+p"?

And since you're the umpteenth person to say the range loads are mild, I really want to find some of this hot stuff to shoot!

It's funny you mention this. My last 5 pistol purchases have been 1911s and revolvers [emoji23]if you're in the OC area, if you haven't had the chance to try it, I'll let you try out the G20sf sometime.
