    Federal 150 grain HST

So I've got 3 boxs so far, I was told by an owner of a LGS that it's good to go and I can use it in any size gun. Has anyone tried it? Or can someone point me in the direction of someone who's done some tests? All I find on Google is the typical BS "new and the best ever" crap. I'm going to try and shoot it this weekend out of my M&P and maybe my 320 or sig if anyone's interested I'll post some results

Hollow point is hollow point is hollow point. Gold dots, hst, critical duty, etc, in the end it doesnt matter too much.

What DOES matter is 1. Reliability in your gun. And 2. Accurate hit placement.

        150 grain is a little small for a .45

I shoot it from my Springfield 1911's, my RIA GI doesn't like hollow point ammo.
It takes a lot of balls to play golf the way I do.

I am assuming he means 9mm. I have never seen anything heavier than 147 grain in the 9. I suppose 3 more grains of weight won't make much difference.

I chronoed some 124 and 147gr HST this last weekend out of some short barrel CCW guns. Both are approx 3.5 inch barrels and from what I have seen online 4 inch barrels don't gain that much. Here is my data if you are interested. I have a case of the 147gr if you want some...
