Are talon grips any good?

Thinking about buying talon grips for my Glock 17. Are the sand paper ones good for range use or do they hurt your hand?

I have used both with good results.
The sand paper ones don't hurt your hands and give great grip.
The rubbery ones don't hurt either and give great grip.

I have the rubberized ones on my M&P Shield (my carry gun), M&P9C and M&P9 Full-Size. For a Gen 3 Glock, I'd add them, there just isn't enough positive texture on a Gen 3 Glock or the M&P's stock.

I run the sand one on my XD and its perfect. Doesnt hurt to grip and gives a bit more grip than the rubber ones.

I had talon tapes all my glock . but they are not planning to make FDE version so .. no mo talon tapes for me .. bummer

The sand paper Talon grips are GREAT for the range.

I put the rubber talon grips on my g29sf last night. Best grips to date...

I love the rubber ones I have them on all my Glocks as well as a few other pistols. I have tried many different grip enhancements and th Talons win without a doubt.

After buying and trying out the Hogue and Pachmayr sleeves on my G22, I got the Talon rubber grips, AND COULDN'T BE HAPPIER.

I just installed rubber ones on both on my m&p guns and feel good. Took both to the range today for the first time and they felt great. I highly recommend them.
