Glock "-" connector vs Glock Store's Double Diamond connector

Has anyone done a comparison with these?

The Glock minus is rated at 4.5 lb and the Double Diamond is 3.5 lb. (actual measurements vary of course)

Primary question is, does the Double Diamond negatively affect the takeup, trigger break or reset?

I like my Glocks' triggers and have a G34 Gen4 with, as I understand it, has the minus connector. All my other Glocks are Gen 3.

So, ignoring the trigger weight. How's the Double Diamond affect trigger pull?

Thanks for any info you have.

to be completely honest, I cant tell the difference. They feel exactly the same to me. I have a DD 3.5 in a G36 and glock minus connector in a G21 gen 4. F I polished both before installation.

Hmmm I like that it's nickle plated and polished. Might be a good choice.

I've seen to many connectors fail regardless of who made it. Failures include firing a round when the trigger is reset and the trigger not resetting at all. A .25 trigger job is a far better mod give you a lbetter trigger feel than any connector will.

Yeah, not interested to going for excessive changes because of increased likelyhood of failures. But the difference between my G34 trigger and my other Glock triggers feels good. Just checking options.

I think polishing is always a good idea (not for one that's nickel plated like the taran above). Previously I used to think, and probably posted here that the best polishing was just putting a couple thousand rounds through it. Decided polishing first, then a couple thousands rounds works even better

Am I the only person who experienced a POA/POI difference when switching from the standard connector to the - connector?

Not to be a jerk, but what is your usual accuracy offhand (eg. How good of a shooter are you) The unfamiliar trigger break may be the cause. The connector itself will not impact poa/poi

I do the $0.25 trigger job, and have a minus "-" connector in all my competiton guns. The ones with the most 10K round plus come in right around 4#s, and others around 4.5#s.

Although ridiculously overpriced, I think the minus is the way to go.

The connector controls he angle that the trigger bar passes over as its cocking the striker. He connectors with lighter pulls have a shallower angle. This makes the trigger slightly lighter with the same springs (more mechanical advantage).
