Please let me know who is selling them so I can help you make a decision (by buying one of them).

Anyone have experience with both? Hard to find comparisons on internet, and my local ranges don't have ones to shoot. Will basically be a range pistol. Am leaning towards the SAO.

Yes, I know people will say to buy both or that Sig customer service sucks, etc., but am hoping for more substantive information about the differences and things to consider when making a decision.

      Thanks
Sigh, sure wish I had that problem... I would definitely buy both, however my preference goes to the Match Elite.

Side note, my experience with Sig customer service has been great.

        What's the intended purpose?

For target shooting / paper punching, the SAO. Just a little bit of trivia- the super match is identical to the old P220 Match SAO, with the addition of a beavertail and wood grips.

Isn't there a Super Match available in the Marketplace?
My friends and family disavow all knowledge of my existence, let alone my opinions.

I have the match elite and chose it over the super match because of the stainless frame. The sa trigger pull is pretty good, but the short trigger sucks. I replaced it with an idp tactical trigger and it feels way better. If they made it in Sao I would've gotten that... They make it in 10mm sao now

The decocker feels out of place on this gun as does the tritium front sight since the rear is a target adjustable sight. It's like a Frankenstein carry/target gun in that sense. It's a beast to hold and fun to shoot. I'll guess the recoil would be more tame than the super match due to the extra weight. Good luck!

Btw my experience with Sig cs has been excellent. They pay shipping both ways for warranty work and they're fast.
