    Used Glock issue (brass dented)

    Hey guys

Bought a used 23 for a great deal here in the market place. Took it out today for the first time and noticed some unusual amounts of brass shavings then later inspecting my brass see that every case has a flat spot like the brass might be getting hung up. I did replace the extractor with a glock OE version from midway due to the old one being worn. If I had to guess I think the gun has 1000 rounds through it? Here's some pics .... Any advice?

I owned two .40 glocks not that long ago, a 27 and a 22. I had this issue on both modelds. I think its common. And unless your going to reload i wouldent worry.

Oh and in doing a little research I think replacing the recoil spring is a good idea. Thanks J-Cat !

They're not liberals, they're leftists. Please don't use the former for the latter. Liberals are Locke, Jefferson, Burke, Hayek. Leftists are progressives, Prussian state-socialists, fascists. Liberals stand against the state and unequivocally support liberty. Leftists support state tyranny.

I have disagreed with J-cat a few times over the years, turns out every single time, he was right.

I never had an issue like this on my Gen3 G22 or my Gen3 G23s.

                          Very odd.

Yes, odd. Never saw that on my G22, G23, G27 either. Watching to see if the cause is found.

Interesting, I'm in with the new recoil spring crowd. My G36 doesn't do that.
