I was looking at one of the Bond Arms derringer today and I know they have multiple caliber barrels, but in the great state of California they ship them with the barrel screw epoxied in place so you can't remove the barrel. Would it be a legal issue if I removed the epoxy and had different barrels for it. (i.e. original barrel 45 long colt and get a 38/357 barrel) I would think it might be like putting a 9m.m. barrel on a 40 S&W Glock, but not sure.

Only legal issue is if you acquired/possessed a .410 barrel or .45Colt/.410 barrel. If you do, then you would be violating CA SBS laws (CA felony for possessing a SBS).sigpic
