Recommend a decent but low cost air rifle for plinking off my patio.

I've got some 22 targets set up off the front and side patios and plink them occasionally. A stainless 10/22 lives leaned against the wall outside next to my favorite patio chair. I want to do some targets for an airgun for when I don't feel like putting on ears or picking up brass. (not as bag as legos when you're barefoot but still not pleasant to step on. My feet are wusses)

I saw one at Walmart the other day that was an 1860 or 1866 replica that looked pretty fun for 60 or 70 bucks. I've got a cheap Red Ryder but I want something accurate enough to be consistent on small steel targets out at 25 or 30 yards.

I have an old Beeman S1 but it needs to be rebuilt and that's not a task I want to take on. If there was a place I could ship it off to for rebuild I'd consider that, but it's probably not worth the cost to do so.

    Recommendations?

...I'm also half considering diving in deep on a nicer one, but that won't be for a couple of months. I've got deer and elk tags to buy first.

I have a fancy version of a crossman 760 made for some anniversary, but a regular version is right in that price range and I find it very easy to shoot if you don’t mind a pump.

I have a hundred thousand rounds through 760s. Not accurate enough for what I want, but they're fantastic little cheapo can plinkers.

Crosman 1377 or 1322 with the backbacker attachable stock, whether in .177 or .22 pellets - either as CO2 or Pump. I just love that little pellet gun.

CO2 probably better for plinking as pumping the gun a lot can get old fast.

With the right pellets, that air gun is a tack-driver. Sub dime at 50'.
That is not my sale, but I do own a .22 Crosman nitro piston.
Mine likes heavy diabolo pellets that are readily available on Amazon.

I'm going to pass on that Benjamin, after reading some reviews on it.

I think the Beeman spring is fine, seals are bad. I've had it since 8th grade. I thought I'd read replacing them took special tools but I haven't looked in years. I'll look into that again too.

Get a break open nitro piston pellet rifle. Either a Crosman or Gamo. Something like these is probably exactly what you are looking for: https://gamousa.com/product/wildcat-...-pellet-rifle/
