I think the Air Venturi Avenger is one of the top-rated and top-selling inexpensive PCP's these days. Especially when they go on sale. There's cheaper out there that also rate well, but usually not with the features of the Avenger. You can also get a suppressor for it if you really want quiet.

+1 on Air Venturi Avenger. Mine is .25 cal. and was so devastating on Ground Squirrels in the Front Yard, I had to go back to my .177 HW35's as the AVA was making too big a mess out of them.

I only wish I could have taken my gun to Florida to shoot Iguanas which is why I bought the thing in the first place. But Mayor Pete got new restrictions on checked baggage so my gun case would have cost me $250 extra both ways.

The gun is just too good for the price. $350. I mounted a Czech Made 2-6 X scope on my gun that I got at a gun show for less than $90 and mounted one of my 1.5" Slings on it..

Beeman Commodore B/P .22 $172.00 if u hack around , or the Air Venturi B/P in .22 $312.00 AND regulated. I have both.
And Buck-Rail.com moderatorcan make them backyard friendly for about $35.00 (db's around 80}

I have the gamo arrow classic, little more fps then the normal arrow, with cheap Amazon scope and rings and hand pump, have a couple kills up to 70 yards, and many many more closer, I think the gauntlet 2 and avenger are better guns, just more money also
