    Kentucky CCW

I know this is going to be of limited value to those still in CA but for those looking to flee CA I'll offer my experience in getting my KY CCW

So for starters the Kentucky website for CCW information is here

The short of it is you take a course ( or if you already have taken a course in the past from somewhere ) and apply online
Cost is $70 for the online application ( $60 if you go down to the sheriff office but it takes longer to process that way)

I applied on July 27 and got my temp paperwork about Aug 23 with a note that my permit would be ready for pick up at the sheriffs office after Sept 3 ( I didn't pick mine up until Sept 10 since I was traveling)

Now the down side is Kentucky only issues to residents or military personnel. All of the details are in the link above.

Limit politicians to two terms. One in office and one in jail.

Beware of people who are certain they are right. That certainty allows them to justify almost any act in pursuit of their goals. ( Jack campbell , Guardian)

Fortunately, Kentucky has "Universal Recognition" and honors ALL valid permits/licenses issued by all other States and Kentucky is also a Permitless carry state effective since June 27th 2019.
