    Update to post #28:

    - set an appointment and applied at Klamath SO on 04/26/2023 while heading back to CA from WA

    - approved by Klamath SO on 5/16/2023

    - State of Oregon Concealed Handgun Licence mailed out to me on 05/18/2023

The process was easy and professional. About 27 days total.

No dispute about the Klamath SO. They issued my original OR CHL and renewed it once while I was a CA resident. Surely recommended for those in CA. But as for timing, you cant beat the Grant County SO. I called for an appointment to change the address on my OR CHL while I was driving from CA to ID. I got an appointment for the next morning. I left that appointment with my renewed OR CHL in hand, no mailing, less than an hour after arriving for my appointment. Not only did they print me, they took my picture and had the equipment needed to produce my new plastic CHL with my picture on it. Top notch!
