I went looking for the Hill People Gear snubbie bag, but none were available, so I fell back on the F-Bomb. It seems reasonably well-made. The Velcro on the small pouch on bottom front is absurdly strong, but the Velcro on the gun pouch is just about right. The pull for the gun pouch flap is not long enough, which is a bit of an obvious blunder, but it can be easily corrected by adding some sort of pull. The top zipper pouch is pretty small; it holds a small set of keys ok. The straps have a softer material added on the back, and don’t seem to chafe. The gun pouch as a universal style holster that works well enough to hold the gun. It won’t fly out when you yank the flap open. The gun pouch doesn’t have any gussets or bellows to accommodate the width of the gun, so the wider the gun the more the gun pouch distorts. I ran with a PPK or a P232 (not the SL) and while the PPK fit better, the lower weight of the P232 was better suited. The vest does bounce when running, but it is not enough to be annoying, particularly with the P232. It doesn’t trap much heat, although if you wipe sweat from your face with your running shirt, you’ll find that doesn’t work very well with the vest on. I’m happy with this purchase.Dr. Goldstein showed us the way. We dropped the ball. Pick up the ball.Comment
