    Concealing Glock 30sf

    Hello all,
I am looking for the absolute best method/ holster to conceal my glock 30 sf. I am not a "big guy" Im athletic build. 6/1 185...wear a lot of suits so I was thinking of a shoulder holster. But at the same time looking for something that I can wear and conceal and not have to alter my entire wardrobe. Any suggestions would be appreciated. And if you are going to say get a smaller gun or don't carry or anything that won't really help please just keep that opinion to yourself.

if you wear a suit and keep your jacket on most/all of the time, then you could carry with an outside the waist ban or inside the waist ban holster with a sturdy belt. Probably a inside the waist ban hybrid holster would be my choice, but you would need pants that are one size larger in the waist, so maybe that option goes out the window. If you go OWB, some type of high ride holster might work.

I bet you could maybe get by with a crotch carry type of holster like a "smart carry" holster. google "smart carry". If your pants fit loose enough you may be able to get this to work ... maybe.

        Good luck.

If you don't wear a tucked in shirt or you wear a cover garment like a jacket, the easiest way to carry is a Sticky Holster. If the Sticky won't fit in your existing pants then a wardrobe change would be needed.
A belly band is also an excellent and affordable choice.
A hybrid holster is the least likely to fit you, as it is the most bulky method of carry, but also the most stable. This is really only an advantage when a dress belt must be worn, or a large heavy gun is being carried.

I'm 5'10" 160lbs, and conceal a 29sf (same size as your 30sf) just fine with a Crossbreed Supertuck at 4 o'clock. I didn't have to change anything about my clothes, other than a few of my t-shirts seem to be a little too small to cover it well. Most t-shirts are fine though. I also pocket-carry (in 5.11 and Blackhawk pants, the kind with a hidden zipper pocket behind the regular front pockets) occasionally, although I prefer not to since I don't have a pocket holster which means I can't carry the gun chambered when I do that. Also, the zipper makes drawing the gun take a little longer than I'd like. Anyways, you'll probably be fine with an IWB holster at 4 o'clock as long as you don't wear tight clothes.
Settle down, folks. The new "ghost gun" regulations probably don't do what you think they do.

Where are you physically located if I may ask?

Why don't you have a pocket holster?

Sacramento area. No real reason for not having a pocket holster other than the fact that I just don't pocket carry very often, maybe once every couple months. I'll probably get one eventually but it's not a high priority at the moment.

If you are anywhere near grantar2 go see him, lots of good advice I see him post here.
I am built about the same as you but I gave up on a double stack and went single stack IWB. If I wore a jacket for work I'd have tried a shoulder holster.

On the t-shirt front try Duluth.
On the pocket holster side break down spend the $25 and get a Sticky Holster. You can use it IWB or in the pocket although I consider the 29sf a little large on the pocket side.

I carry the G30 in an IWB holster. It is called "The $30.00 Holster" and is available online through the Glock Store. Works great and low profile!

Just bought a "$30 holster" for my G42. I really wanted to hate it, but it's stupidly simple and comfortable. Now, I'm fighting the urge for one for the G19's and one for the G21.

If you have a gun show coming up, you might wait to buy as they are occasionally on sale there...

But, but but.....that would require patience and planning and result in deprivation for a short period of time.
