G27 basically stock accept for Talon grip, Meprolight Tru-Dot sights, G19 smooth trigger, and my own custom mag release. Carried at 4 o’clock in a Cook's Kydex IWB holster. Hardly know it is there.

          My EDC Setup

Here's my EDC setup. I carry 16/7/365. The other 8 hours is when I'm sleeping, but then I have my Colt .45 1911 on the nightstand.

          .45 ACP. It's like a 9mm, except for grown-ups.

Glock 26 off duty in a Josh Kolbeson custom IWB with the offset belt loops and retention thumb break, backed up with a Glock 19 magazine in a OWB kydex holder, along with a Streamlight something new model that I can't recall that uses 2 CR123s and puts out a ton of light in a pocket flashlight.

Go outside of Cali and you'll find most people who CCW do so with an LCP. I have a rather large selection of subcompacts from which to chose and the LCP almost always is the preferred carry gun. It's light, small, adequate caliber with appropriate SD ammo and has a Magguts plus one spring kit installed giving it 8 rounds. Carry it with non-lethal pepper spray and you're well equipped to handle most realistic problems one would encounter. The gun you always carry, no matter how small, is always better than the large heavy thing you left at home, or in the car. Have made a believer out of many newbs who felt they needed full sized handguns.

Stand corrected, should have said many. Sons have lots of friends. They all have LCP's, except for a few with MP's.

We already have the only reasonable Gun Control we need, It's called the Second Amendment and it's the government it controls.

I used to carry a LCP but one close encounter convinced me that 6+1 of 380ACP with a 14 pounds trigger in a gun that is barely big enough for my hands is not going to cut it when it goes down.

Your EDC should be any gun you really no BS are going to carry everyday. If you carry more than one style they should all operate the same way, when things get real mechanical actions should be reflexive leaving the mind to deal with information, and actions that need the processing power.

                                Summer carry: S&W Shield 9mm
                                Winter carry: Beretta Px4 9mm
Both are carried in Black Arch iwb holsters.

If you never heard of Black Arch, I highly recommended them. Honest to God, when I'm carrying my Shield I forget sometime. It's really comfortable.
