Yeah, we are stone stuck on processing. Im surrendered to te fact it will be several weeks/months more. Bummer too, I was right there at the edge too. I started all this in the beginning of November.

Well day 100. And still no progress. Status still the same.
Hope we get back to reviewing applications soon before I actually move outta here Lolol.

EDIT. I called today.4/30 Voice mail says DOJ processing is on hold till further notice ,thank you.

No contact or change in status since I attached the additional info Lt. Salas requested to my application on March 8th. No news is good news the way I see it.

Right on. I think mine is (hopefully) just waiting for the SIP to be over so I can get the permit issued in person. My livescan and everything else is done although I haven't been granted final approval, so I am at the mercy of the virus right now. Good to hear Alicia is still plugging away at applications. Her and the rest of the office no doubt have a lot extra on their plate at the moment.

Nope nothing for me. Still Assigned to Processor / Processing Order. From 3-20. You said yours took about 2 days from that point. Guess mines taking longer lol.

Thats about what I expected. Oh well.... Thanks for sharing the info!

Just hope they are still working on our apps. This way when we get the all clear we can start moving foreword with the app proses.
This may give them a chance to get caught up too.

CORONAVIRUS UPDATE:

The Coronavirus (COVID-19) has compelled the CCW unit to temporarily change how we conduct business. Our mission is to provide high-quality service while taking proactive measures to maintain the mutual safety of our CCW staff and CCW applicants. In compliance with Local, State, and Federal Guidelines, we have suspended all in-person transactions and public access to the Sheriff’s Office.

Current CCW license holders can renew their CCW license through the website. However, we will not issue any new or renewal permits until regular County of Sonoma operations resume. We will continue to accept and process new applications for CCW licenses submitted online. However, new license issuance will be on hold until our CCW office reopens for public access as first-time license issuance requires in-person transactions. Thank you for your patience and understanding. If you should have questions or concerns, please email us at Sheriff-Investigatio@sonoma-county.org.

doj website said my checks were finished on feb 22nd. I think its more likely they are busy wit the virus but who knows....

The good thing is most of us are stuck at home so no real need for the CCW. We all have a gun close at home lol. Hopefully anyway.
