Got the call today to pick up my permit on Friday. Exactly two weeks since I paid my final fee

Just got the call. Picking up my permit 1015 this Friday. That was absurdly quick.

Got mine scheduled for 10am this Friday. Must be more than one person issuing them on Friday.

15 permits picked up a week?? I think that's far fetched.. People have not posted recent pick ups.

Read carefully.... 15/week is the maximum possible if only 1x person is doing it 1x day per week at 30 minutes per permit issued plus breaks and lunch (lol).

Also, the people in this CGF thread are a small fraction of the outstanding permit applications, so you won't hear about the vast majority of the issued permits, period.

Same here, training was sat. 27th. Got my call to pick up Friday afternoon. All I did was submit docs, pay fees, and wait like the instructions said to do. It specifically said to NOT contact them to set up a pick up.

I belong the 4/19/23 appointments. Its been cricket since.

I see some posts that were interviewed on same date that moved along recently. I plan on starting a follow up, do I email Sheriffs? or LEPS?

If you haven't hear anything since you applied on 4/19/2023, maybe you got lost in the system. You could check your app status at scso.permitium.com/order_tracker. Maybe search your Junk or Spam folder for missed emails from auto@permitium.com. Maybe email the Sheriff at shf.soccw@shf.sccgov.org and ask if you application is still in process.

OMG!! Email them and expect to hear back within a week, CCW Unit reads every email and will respond. Just don't be that guy bugging them every step of the process. Good luck.

Second paper app post-Bruen: 7/1/22
Permitium app: 4/3/23
Interview: 4/12/23
Notification of Psych appt availability: 10/27/23
Live Scan: 10/30/23
Psych test: 11/3/23
Psych interview: 11/8/23
Livescan clear per DOJ website: 11/14/23
Permitium notification to proceed with Livescan: 12/28/23
Permitium Approval for training: 1/2/24
Training/Qual with Sabre Tactics: 1/13/24
Final Payment/Approval: 1/17/24
Permit Issued: 2/2/24

There were quite a few emails between those dates to try and grease the wheels with questionable effectiveness.

Cant recommend Sabre Tactics enough, the online classroom portion is super convenient and the instructors are equally professional and entertaining. I am looking forward to training with them in the future when they expand their catalog.

I have two of these for my vehicles, no complaints. Just wrap around seat frame and tuck under.
