Not yet. I am still waiting for the LiveScan to clear. The deputy did mentioned that psych test is part of the 2024 process. This confused me because everything I have read so far says it's up to the IAs discretion. Hoping psych is not the standard process because $400 dollars is a bit much. Will report back if I have to do the psych.

I have not seen a single post, here or FB, saying they were required to do the psych eval under the new process.
There is a mandatory mental health training requirement.
The course shall include a component, no less than one hour in length, on mental health and mental health resources.

Logged into SBSO CCW site on or about 01/20/24. Got an email requesting when I wanted my reneal class. I was given a few options. I took the 01/23/24 class. Uploaded all my inforamtion before hand...Attended the class. It was very good. Class started at 08:00. At the range by 09:00. As others have said, load 5 drop the magaine shoot 5 more...Got an email today 02/26/24. CCW approved. Look in the mail in the next two weeks....

Besides your guns and ammo, did you need anything else? Fee for the range or pen, paper, copy of application, etc

Just got my permit last month and found a good deal on a good CCW gun that could replace one of my guns in my permit. Does anyone know if its currently possible to change that one gun from my permit and how?...

Did class 1/17, received a text last week my permit was renewed, received in mail yesterday 2/26. Drivers license style card. Only lame thing is my old permits (I've renewed 5 times) all showed issue and expire of 4/1, new permit shows issue/expire 2/20, so I lost about 40 days of permit issuance.

took pen, paper, copy of applicationincluding "TERMS OF USE" we had to sign that in class. I paid all fees via SO website.

My card expired 12/16/2023. Signed up for a class on Jan. 23 2024. Notified New CCW issued Feb. 26th. Waiting for the mail.We were told it would be the credit card type.

My god, SBSD is complete garbage based on things experienced and things im reading.....nothing is uniform, a complete cluster ****...and they wanna blame it all on a hack that was most likely internal.....

My permit expired 12/01/23. Submitted renewal 1st week of October 2023 & was given an extension card valid thru March 1, 2024. Just in the nick of time I received my permit (credit card type) on Feb. 26th. Hang in there.

Anyone know if their "new" card is the same as the old card. Or if SBSD plans on sending those with paper cards the new plastic ones?
