Today I atrempted to file an application but when I hit the submit button i received a mesaaged saying my SSN was already in the database.

back in 2018 I applied but when I showed up for the interview the Deputy advised me I was missing a proof of address in my name like a rental agreement or Deed which I did not have and could not get for a long story of reasons. I was told to come back with the missing paper whenever I could get it but I never did... I now own a home so I for sure have all the documents needed... Has anyone gone thru this same scenario?...

Seems your application is still in the system. Drop them a email. They will unravel it.

Thank you for putting my mind at ease....did just what you said, emaile said to call to schedule...so I called and got scheduled for May interview, I was just a little unsure about some info in the application being out of date like my address or firearms listen in permit but I was told I could change all that at the day of interview since my app is over 2 years old so Im glad.....Just kinda sucks it takes this long for rhe process from start to end.

            Initial Application Timeline

My wife is going to throw in, I got mine in 16. I am asking for her what the timeline is like now. I don't even remember what the time was from submission to interview to classroom and range day. We have a few road trips planned and she doesn't to miss out while we are gone.
            Thanks

Very pleased with my whole experience. I took the earliest dates I could possibly schedule and the whole thing took 6 months.

              Applied: 7/11/22
              Interview: 7/23/22
              Passed BG Check: 10/12/22
              Range: 1/14/23

SBCSD posted pics from your range day on Twitter. Looked cold and wet but 107 brave souls are new CCW holders! Congrats

They mentioned pics, so I'll need to go look those up.

It was definitely cold and wet, but they really tried to get everyone out there before the real rain hit. Everyone that had requested 3 guns on their license got to go first, so my indecisiveness really paid off.

212 days from application to permit here.

Deputies said you can add firearms on day of, but your permit won't get released until whatever you add clears DOJ (30 days). So if anyone wants to buy some cool things you didn't add to the application, you're in luck.

The SBCSD has spent a lot of time and money putting together their CCW website. SBCSD CCW

Need to get my first renewal in June so I started looking into it now. I went on the SBCSD website and noticed under OFFICE LOCATIONS it only gives Victorville and Glen Helen offices. Is this the only place you can go now? I was originally issued at the San Bernardino office.
