    01/13/20 Received second call, background check passed, range day scheduled.

    For anyone currently waiting for “the call”, make sure you answer it when it comes. If not, you’re in for a good month or so wait for them to get back to you.

    Unless it's changed, for your initial permit, they call you and tell you when you can come in to pick up your permit.
    ^Tpyically within 10 days of your range date.

    They then have you confirm everything printed on the permit is correct.
    ^Double check the address and your handgun(s) info.

    When you renew, they mail the permit to you.

    Anyone have an idea how long the “serial number verification and mailing of permit” is?

    Now just waiting for permit to arrive via mail. Overall, I have to say the process is extremely quick for as many applicants they have to work with. Great group of Deputies/Detectives from the SBSD working this operation.

    Exactly what he told me. Im not sure how I did not see the time right above the Red! too busy reading the rest I guess. All my paper work is ready to go as well as postal money orders!

    Hey Guys. I have my Range Day tomorrow. When I got the call I was on my motorcycle and had to pull off the freeway. SO needless to say I could not write anything down. I think he said it starts at 8am but get there early. Is this correct?
    Any recommendations on what time to get there?
