You were never in line for range day.
Until all the info is submitted and you are approved there is not 'line'.
Once you are approved, livescan is processed, home check done, etc then you are given a range date.

I see, thanks for the clarification. I don't mind waiting. Just found it weird how DOJ didn't receive my info. SBSD didnt charge me for the second livescan and appologized for having to come in again.

I had a real tough time getting clean finger prints on that new fangled machine they use. It keep reading no match or something like that. He finally gave up and said he would send the cleanest scan and see what the DOJ says. Anywho, I guess it worked, I have a card in my wallet.

If it was a double class they have about 160 people to get to. Give them a little more time.

Class is indoors, range is outdoors. Might be warm, bring plenty of water and lunch. Oh, and a pen to write with. You wouldn't believe how many show up to a
class without writing instruments.

If I recall from what I have read the 'class' is indoors.
I would suggest:
Water
Hat
Sunscreen/chapstick
Pen & Paper
LUNCH!

Food choices are limited nearby and you will have a short time for lunch.

Range part was not required way back when I first got my CCW.

Bring a pen, your USPS money order for the correct amount, the serial #s for your firearms, ID...and whatever is on the list.

My employer had the verification form in 4 days after the interview.
Also, I got the call that I had passed background (under 30 days), and have my range date scheduled for the end of October.
Start to finish should be around 11 months.

I had my interview on 9/1 and my HR said she hasn't received anything yet. Should I be worried?

You'll have a break during the classroom part, but you can bring it in with you from the get-go if you want.

Check with your direct boss. Whoever opens the mail may have given it to them. If they don't have it you might want to give the sheriff's Dept a call.

Keep everything locked up in your vehicle until instructed to retrieve them.
