Your instructor will likely pad it a bit for safety... I think mine said 3 weeks.
They did have some delays last year when they had problems with their printer.

You can tell you're in a class with other Calgunners if he says "2 weeks" and you hear snickers

      I still have mine.
I just tucked it into the envelope with my 03, COE, and NRA Training certs.

The instructor said a week. He also said there was another payment that I was unaware of. So I called yesterday to confirm the payment and they told me 6 weeks

Get the money order ready tomorrow.

They will call you when it's ready for pickup.

Quick question for you guys who went thru the application process... In the on-line application, it asked you to list three firearms you want the license to cover. Is it necessary to own the gun (one to three of them) at the time when you fill out the application?

I am thinking of applying for a license but have not yet decided on which gun to purchase. So i am wondering if I can submit the application without listing the gun/guns; and then inform the county which gun I want the license to cover at a later date?

            Thanks!

you have all the way until your range date to finalize which gun(s) you want to be on the ccw. You'll have to physically have it in your possession and shoot with it at the range at that time. I didn't own one of the pistols I put on mine until about 2 weeks before my range date.

So I can submit my application online without owning any gun at all?

                    This may be a problem.
The system may not accept a blank on that part of the application, and one of the interview questions is "Are your guns registered to you"

I'd do my best to get something to list, even if you ultimately don't qualify or carry it.

Ultimately, no, it doesn't matter what is on the app... you can list one and take 3 completely different guns to qualification.

Plus a photocopy of your range card and your CCW will get you an Arizona Non resident CCW.

We already have the only reasonable Gun Control we need, It's called the Second Amendment and it's the government it controls.

Thanks for all of the replies. I will put a 1911 that I already own on the application so I can submit it. Will then look for a more suitable gun and bring it to the range.

True, I learned to do ink fingerprints when I was a kid and my father was CHP. I couldn't find anyone to do ink prints so I bought a kit and did my own.
