Even tho it specifically references carry laws? Permits etc? We don't need a license to exercise the right of free speech. I don't have a permit that gets me into church. Why do you all need one to exercise your rights under the second amendment? Maybe that's the problem. We all allow them to use their tyranny against us without even realizing it. We even "agree" with them.

Right. The length of LiveScan is delayed by DOJ processing of the hard copy report. However, a reduction in staffing at the CCW office may have created a delay in processing those reports received from DOJ.

Call CCW office and check. They might forget to send out the email because I had to call to find out about my conditional approval.

Livescan is open for walk-ins even though no one answers the phone. I went to the Rancho Cordova office.

Initial appointment: 4/26/16
Conditional approval: 5/27/16
Livescan: 6/14/16

Thanks for the info. Had posted earlier that the lady who did my livescan said it would be four to six months. Everyone, including myself, thought she meant weeks. Guess she was right!
