UPDATE!! Decided to check the DOJ website and it cleared yesterday! Live scan was on 06/15 cleared CA and FBI same day, firearms cleared 08/01. So much faster than expected.

I did my live scan on 5/16 I wonder if mine has cleared yet, only problem is I never received my ATI#, emailed my IA but no response yet.

No, I did mine at the Palm Desert location. I even asked the guy if I would get a copy and he said there was no need, that they would let me know once it cleared.

Picked up my Riverside County Sheriff's Concealed Carry permit
this morning at Ben Clark Training Center.
When I arrived at 9am the waiting area was empty.The guy
receptionist ask me to hold down a orange button on a small
black intercom device at the window and for me to state my full name.

After you are asked to have a seat.Approx 7 mins later a
gentleman ask for me and to follow him .
Once at his office down a hallway and through two security
doors I was asked for my ID and to have a seat.He enter some
data on his computer then asked me to check my data on the
computer for accuracy.

Afterwards a photo was taken with a very
outdated camera and my CCW was quickly created on a nearby printer.
Once the CCW was given to me I was escorted back out to the front
receptionist desk.
Only took 12-15 minutes to accomplish.

Good luck to all that are to follow....

Congratulations... Amen...and you already have your Arizona and Utah permits ..so you're ahead of the game..you can travel almost any where in the U S. .if you
possibly can, apply for your Florida permit too..just to have it!!

I heard the cleared DOJ Firearms cleared results come into the office in group batches.
Even though you see clear on Firearms the Riverside Sheriff's are awaiting
the next group of Cleared Firearms background results to be received to their desk.
If that makes any sense for you?.
Don't hold me to this,but it's what I have heard from others.

Just hang in buddy.Patience always gets rewarded!.Think
positive!.

Do your self a favor and call them. Ask them to transfer to ccw unit and ask of where am I at in the process. If you get a recorded message, call them again in a different dispatch location until you get a response. Cheers!
