    Anybody else have this problem?
I've tried 3 times in 3 months and nothing. There's people in this thread that have requested after me and already received appointments. I was planning on calling them, but reading your post makes me lose hope.

What type of email are you using? Maybe try using a different one?

Also check your spam folders, and consider adding OCSD to you email contacts.

I tried twice about a month apart using the online form and never got a response. I finally called and got a live person who scheduled my date at that moment. My advice, call and get the appointment. My date is in June so its a few months wait. Good luck.

Hi all thanks for your advice. I ended up calling them after I made the posts earlier and was able to schedule an appointment over the phone. So that worked out. I'm scheduled for June as well. Thanks again!

NICS was reported by NRA that they have discontinued review of denials on background checks. They can't even get to the checks, let alone do a re-eval.
People are being denied their right without recourse and NRA is not happy about it. Check out their news.

Glad to hear that you got your appt.... they seemed to be backlogged or something... I had to try on 3 different days (online and email on the 1st day, online and phone on the 2nd day, and email on the 3rd day). These 3 attempts were over the course of a week's time. I finally got my appt for early June.

Funny, when I called on the phone to make my appt, they told me that they weren't doing that anymore and I had to go on-line...

Yeah it seems they are inconsistent with that. My buddy called about 10 minutes after I did, and who ever he spoke with told him to go back online even though he's not getting a response either. He's going to keep trying though.

If someone isn't getting an email response, they need to try again in a few days, If that doesn't work they need to write the LT and let him know their email isn't being answered.

Is there a specific LT to email/contact?

QQ from first time poster. Are you including reference letters from members of the community to establish good morale character?

I have my interview in early March and wondering if I should include one or two with the app.

The more I know the less I don't know.

Reference letters are irrelevant to them.

If you can articulate a good cause other than just "self defense" you should be good to go.
