I feel like I'm dialing a radio station for free tickets. Can't seem to get through.

When I paid in June, I was told the person working phone payments only does it on set days. If you did not receive the email with specific times, you may be calling on a day they are not processing.

I don't know what to say. I called around 11am, left a voicemail. Got a return call the same day.

or did you have to call them to make payment ?

Approval on or before current expiration date of 12/8? We’ll see.

9/10: 4/hr Renewal Course Scheduled

I finally got mine, It didn’t move for 4 months, so after four months
I emailed them and asked (nicely) if everything was ok
in a matter of a day or two the reviewer got it and submitted it
for approval, a day or two later I got an email to pay over the phone,
That was a friday, she sent it out on Monday and I got my permit Wednesday

Sounds like it might have gotten lost in the system and your email got things started again.

Well, as my CCW expires tomorrow I thought I'd post my timeline so far.

5/13/21 Renewal app submitted & all required paperwork except training certificate.
5/17/21 training certificate submitted.
8/20/21 sent an email just checking if they got my renewal app - received a reply in less than an hour stating they had everything and the process was taking 90-120 days right now.
9/7/21 (tomorrow) current permit expires. 118 days since app was submitted.

Still waiting. Hopefully not much longer. The funny thing is I thought I was submitting my renewal with 87 days to go on my current CCW but it turned out to be 118 days (I screwed up and got my date calculations wrong, never was good at math, LOL) but the website allowed me to apply.

5/5/21 - Renewal application submitted.
5/17/21 - All documents OCSD have requested for previous renewals submitted.
9/7/21 - Wrote email to OCSD asking if they are missing anything because no progress has been made or noted on the web tracker. Waiting for reply...

License expired in June.

New updates:
9/14/21 - Received three emails from OCSD. First email notification of refund of my original payment because I forgot their system is unable to take payments yet. Second email to tell me my file has finally been forwarded to a Processor, and the last email to tell me my application has been approved (I included every conceivable documentation they've ever requested in previous renewals in my original submission, so they didn't need anything).
9/15/21 - Received one email from OCSD giving me the number to call to submit my payment for the license or wait for their call. I called and after one ring was connected to a processor. Gave all my info and was told license would ship tomorrow to my residence. Processor also told me since my license expired in June, that they would give me three extra months on the expiration date on the new license. Nice.
9/18/21 - Received license. Expiration date on license was set for 9/18 also.

So basically, almost exactly four months to the day of document submission.

7/13/21 - Emailed for status, was told reviews are taking 90 days.

It's now 9/8 with zero updates, permit expires in a couple weeks. Likely going to email them again to check on things.
